About Us
Millinium Training and Technology, Inc. is a nonprofit organization in College Park, Georgia, dedicated to helping underserved individuals gain certified training and careers in the telecommunications industry. We offer accredited courses in Structured Cabling Installation and Fiber Optics Installation, along with in-house training in voice and data wiring, access control, surveillance systems, intrusion system wiring, and point-of-sale installation. Millinium Training and Technology has successfully introduced more than 35 individuals with no prior experience to the low-voltage field, with most continuing to build careers in the industry
Courses
A 2-week Data and Voice Cabling Installer course that teaches entry-level low-voltage wiring, telecom theory, and industry standards. The class is 60% hands-on and includes ladder and lift safety training. Students earn continuing education credits toward BISCI and ETA certifications and become eligible to take the Data Cabling Installer exam proctored by a certified instructor.
A 4-week Fiber Optics Installer course that teaches fiber-optic theory, industry codes, and best practices. Training includes classroom instruction and hands-on work with fiber terminology, fusion splicing, and mechanical splicing. After completing the course, students are eligible to take the Fiber Optics Installer exam proctored by a certified instructor
